Privacy When Using OrgChart JS: Keep Your Data in Your Hands
At BALKAN App, we know how important privacy is when working with sensitive organizational data. That’s why OrgChart JS is designed to give you full control over your information.
What Happens With Your Data?
By default, when you use advanced features like export to PDF, PNG, Visio, or PowerPoint, or when you access the AI features, your chart data is temporarily sent to our secure server in the Microsoft Azure data center in Europe. This temporary storage (for one hour only) is necessary for processing exports and AI results. After that, the data is automatically deleted.
Licensed Users: No Data Leaves Your Server
If your organization prefers not to send any data outside your own infrastructure, the licensed version of OrgChart JS provides a simple solution:
You can install the export and AI services on your own server.
This way, no data is transmitted to BALKAN App servers.
Your data stays fully under your control at all times.
This option is especially valuable for companies handling sensitive or regulated data, where external transmission is not acceptable.
